No, isn't necessary to put it on a new install of WP. I put it on an existing domain that I use for testing stuff. It's full of all kinds of nonsense. Just be prepared to deactivate your other plugins if you get an error message.

I have it on a 5 month old blog and it's fine. I just uploaded the files provided via FTP.

OK, I watched the videos and now have Typepad working. My next hurdle is posting on self-hosted blogs. I didn't see anything about that on the videos. Has anyone gotten that working yet?

For those struggling : it's said somewhere in the video that it is "NOT" supposed to be compatible with other plugins !

So if it works with other plugin, then you've been lucky I guess.

By the way the videos on the website are all messed-up, one video appears around 5 or 6 times...

I'm trying to install it on self hosted right-now. It doesn't seems to work on my local machine as localhost and running the "cron" manually by calling the cron.php script but maybe it's just my firewall blocking some RSS content extraction.

Definetely a very good plugin once i'll get it running !
